Welcome to Falcon Bluffs Middle School

Since our ribbon cutting ceremony in 2003, Falcon Bluffs has been dedicated to middle school students. We provide a comprehensive education that includes traditional core subjects with a wide variety of elective opportunities, clubs, sports and activities. Unique to Falcon Bluffs, staff are trained in Pre-Advanced Placement (Pre-AP) strategies and our Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies departments implement Pre-AP and SpringBoard curriculum.  Additionally our Mathematics department uses College Preparatory Mathematics (CPM) and consistently produces growth scores near the top in Jeffco. We partner with Chatfield Senior High to ensure our students are prepared for the AP and Concurrent Enrollment opportunities that await them. Staff are deeply engaged in Professional Learning Communities with a focus on student needs using common assessment data. Behind all of our success we emphasize our 6 collective commitments: Grit, Growth Mindset, Relationships, Intellectual Curiosity, Collaboration, and Professionalism.

  • Led the way in South Jeffco by welcoming 6th grade students into Middle School in 2005.

  • Implementation of Pre-AP training and curriculum using CollegeBoard materials.

  • The 2017-18 school year, FBMS had the highest middle school growth scores in all of Jeffco on CMAS State assessments.

What's Happening

Dear Jeffco Families,

Beginning Monday 3/16 until Friday 3/27, “Grab and Go” meals will be available for collection for Breakfast (8:00-9:00a) and Lunch (11:30a - 12:30p) at the following school locations:

  • Arvada K-8 School
  • Colorow Elementary School
  • Edgewater Elementary School
  • Foothills Elementary School
  • Lasley Elementary School
  • Parr Elementary School
  • Conifer High School

All children (ages 1-18) can go to any of the above school locations, to receive a no-cost meal.  We will be serving anyone in need.  Each person will be required to be present and pick up their own meal.  We will also be donating perishable foods and working with our local food banks in order to mitigate the community impact of missing food services in schools. Additional school distribution locations will be added as needed.

For questions regarding this program, please call 303 982 6748.

Thank you,
